Insurance and Fees
The Waverly Center is currently an in-network provider for the following insurance(s):
Carefirst/ BlueCross BlueShield
The Waverly Center is considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance providers. If you have health insurance coverage from any other provider, you may be able to obtain reimbursement from your health insurance provider for the cost of your therapy sessions at the Waverly Center. Prior to scheduling your first appointment, call your insurance provider to verify that you are eligible to receive reimbursement for services provided by an out-of-network-provider. Here are some specific questions that you should ask during the call:
Have I met my out-of-network deductible for the year?
How much is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health treatment?
How much is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health treatment?
Do I need a referral from my primary care provider, or another in-network provider, in order to receive treatment from someone who is out-of-network?
How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?
The Waverly Center will provide you with an invoice at the end of each month that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement of the fees that you have paid out-of-pocket for therapy. If you plan to pay out-of-pocket for services, you can request a good faith estimate of the cost of services.
Current Waverly Center Fees
Initial Assessment: $200
Individual Session: $150
Group Therapy: $40/week
Initial Assessment and Individual Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Group Therapy Sessions are 75 minutes in length.
Payment is required at the time of service. The Waverly Center accepts cash, credit/debit cards, and HSA or FSA benefits.
The Waverly Center will assess a $75 fee for Individual Sessions that are cancelled with less than 24-hours notice, and for no-shows.
